A crash on Murfreesboro Pike sent one person to the hospital.
Police said the driver went off the road, down a hill, and flipped Sunday morning.
The vehicle landed next to a McDonald's drive thru.
Authorities said the 71-year-old passenger in the vehicle was badly hurt and might lose an arm because of her injuries.
Those on the scene said her arm was pinned outside of the passenger window. She was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for her injuries.
The driver was not injured. No identities had been released.
Police said speed was believed to be a factor.
