Police in Spring Hill have asked the public’s help in locating a teenager who fled custody from the Department of Children’s Services.
Officials said a 17-year-old ran away from a DCS worker at a Wendy's around 7 p.m. Monday night.
They lost sight of him during a chase near the Mars Plant and State Route 840.
His name was not released.
He was described as being is 5-feet 6-inches tall, weighs 130 pounds and was wearing a gray hoodie with black gym shorts and white shoes.
No additional details were known.
