A store clerk was taken into custody after she allegedly assaulted an unruly customer at a Nashville-area convenience store.
According to an affidavit from Metro Nashville Police, Zankhanaben Patel admitted to attacking a woman with a club who came into a Citgo gas station on Ermac Drive.
The alleged victim reportedly went back into the store to return recently purchased items.
When she was refused a refund, the woman knocked several items off the counter with her hands and then left.
However, Patel reportedly followed her with a club she keeps behind the counter.
From there, police said she proceeded to beat the victim and smash up the front of her car. The alleged incident was also caught on surveillance video.
Patel was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault.
