No foul play was suspected after a male student was found dead inside a Vanderbilt University dorm room.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said the call came in around 2 a.m. Wednesday.

Police said they do not suspect foul play in the 20-year-old student's death.
His identity was not known.
Students told NewsChannel 5 that the death occurred at the third floor of Vanderbilt Hall by West End and 23rd Avenue.
They said they weren't allowed to go to the dorm room while police were there.
No additional details were known. The investigation remained ongoing.
