Officials confirmed power has been restored after a substation went down causing thousands of outages in Wilson County.
The incident happened Sunday afternoon and affected a large portion of southern Mt. Juliet.
Those with the city said a substation was down, and they also reminded all drivers to stop at powerless traffic signals.
As of 3:30 p.m., those with Middle Tennessee Electric said 4,756 customers were without power.
Not long after 4 p.m. all power had been restored.
