A suspect has been arrested in a bizarre case of gasoline theft after he allegedly tried to siphon fuel from vehicles.
The incident was reported in the parking lot of a Sam’s Club on Antioch Pike.
According to an affidavit from Metro Nashville Police, Maynor Roldan tried to siphon gas from at least two vehicles.
Employees of the store were able to flag down police officers, who located Roldan.
Police said he smelled strongly of gasoline.
He was taken into custody and charged with burglary of a motor vehicle. His photo was not available.
