A man has been charged in connection with a shooting in broad daylight that injured a woman near downtown Nashville.
The incident happened Tuesday afternoon near Carroll Street.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said Seth Taylor has been accused of firing several shots at the victim and her car before taking off.
Her 4-year-old daughter was with her at the time of the shooting.
From there, she drove to Demos' restaurant on 3rd Ave North, just north of Commerce Street.
The victim reportedly had friends at the restaurant who helped her get to an area hospital.
Taylor has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon; however, he claims he’s innocent. His photo was not immediately available.
