A suspect has been accused of DUI after allegedly crashing through a family's backyard fence in Madison.
The incident happened around 3 a.m. Tuesday at a home near Neelys Bend Road and Randy Road.
Officials with Metro Police said the driver apparently crashed through a fence into a family's backyard and fled the scene.
Witnesses had reported seeing someone driving erratically in the area.
Police said the car started falling apart and he ran off the road by a KFC on Gallatin Pike.
The person’s identity was not known.
