Police have asked the public’s help for information after a suspect shot a pharmacist with a pellet gun during an apparent robbery.
The incident was reported Tuesday at Chane Pharmacy, located on Murfreesboro Pike.
Details were limited at this time, but Metro Nashville Police officials said the suspect walked into the business and demanded drugs.
At some point, the suspect pulled a pellet gun and a struggle broke out.
Police said the pharmacist was struck in the ear by one of the pellets.
It’s not known if he was able to get away with anything.
He reportedly fled in a black car. No additional suspect information was immediately known.
