Suspect Sought In Bank Robbery In Cookeville

Posted

Photos of a suspect have been released after a bank robbery in Cookeville.

Authorities said the incident happened around 12:25 p.m. Monday at the American Bank and Trust on Neal Street.

Reports stated a white male suspect went into the bank and gave the teller a note. Officials said the man did not show a weapon, but the note indicated he had one.

The man was able to get away after taking an undisclosed amount of cash. It was possible he left the scene in a blue-colored Honda.

He was seen wearing blue-colored pants, a blue or grey t-shirt with what looked like a duck emblem on the front, a green reflective rain coat, blue hard-hat, and blue Nike tennis shoes.

Anyone with information has been asked to call the Cookeville FBI office at 931-526-8622 or the Cookeville Police Department at 931-526-2125.
