Police have asked the public’s help for more information after a man was shot in west Nashville.
The shooting happened shortly before midnight Monday on Robertson Avenue.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said witnesses reported seeing the victim get into some sort of fight with someone in a truck moments before the incident.
The suspect then fired several shots while driving away.
The victim was struck in the stomach and rushed to an area hospital.
Police said he is expected to survive. His name was not known.
So far, no suspect has been identified.
