Suspect Sought, Residents Asked To Lock Doors

Posted

Residents in Williamson and Davidson County have been advised to lock their doors as authorities search for a wanted man.

Officials said 37-year-old Bobby L. Medley was being considered dangerous.

He was believed to be in Williamson County after running from deputies during a traffic stop Tuesday night. However, surveillance video from a convenience store in Hermitage showed a man matching Medley's description inside.

He was spotted in the store at 3900 Lebanon Pike around 8:40 a.m., and was last seen leaving the parking lot on foot. Officials believed he could be staying in that immediate vicinity.

The initial stop happened on Bellenfant Road in College Grove when he was pulled over for speeding.

He was described as a white male with a shaved head, standing around 6’2’’ and weighing approximately 220 pounds. He was last seen wearing all black clothing. Officials added he may or may not have a beard.

Authorities said he’s wanted for three counts of aggravated statutory rape in Marshall County. They added they were not sure if he's armed, but they have considered him dangerous due to his record.

Along with locking doors, officials have asked residents to not answer the door if anyone knocks.

According to reports, authorities said they're also searching for him in Rutherford County.

Anyone who sees him has been urged to contact the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office at 615-790-5550 or 911.
