A suspicious fire has been under investigation east of downtown Nashville.
Fire fighters were called to Booker Street at 22nd Avenue North around 2 a.m. Saturday.
Authorities said the owners moved out a few weeks ago, and the home was vacant.
Investigators added it appeared someone broke a front window of the home and threw something in to ignite the fire.
The house was damaged inside, but officials said it was not a total loss.
No further details were released as the investigation continued.
