A woman was taken to an area hospital after her SUV rolled over her before crashing into a neighbor’s home in Antioch.
The incident happened early Thursday morning along Mountain View Road.
Officials with the Nashville Fire Department said the woman walked outside to get the paper when her SUV began rolling backwards. The vehicle ran over her legs, causing multiple fractures.
The SUV continued traveling and eventually crashed into a neighbor’s home.
That homeowner said the impact of the collision startled him. When he walked outside, he said no one was in the vehicle.
The woman, believed to be about 60-years-old, was found lying in her driveway. She was taken to an area hospital where her condition was unknown.
Mountain View Road was previously blocked by first responders but has since reopened.
