Police set up a perimeter in south Nashville after a taxi driver was robbed at gunpoint.
The incident happened before 4 a.m. Monday in the area of Glenrose Avenue and Thompson Lane.
Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said the taxi driver was headed home when the gunman robbed him.
A description of the suspect was not known.
No additional details were available.
