A teen was recovering after accidentally shooting himself in the hand.
Authorities said the incident happened after midnight, in the early morning hours Sunday, at a home in the 300 block of Wilburn Street.
Police said the teen, reportedly around 13 years old, was upstairs in the home when he shot himself in the hand with a handgun.
His injuries were non-life threatening. Reports stated only his grandmother was at home at the time of the shooting.
He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and police said he was expected to be okay.
