A teenager with a long criminal history has been charged with attempted second degree murder.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said Kuvontay Cain has been arrested more than 70 times.
He first came onto the radar a couple of years ago after escaping from the Woodland Hills Youth Development Center.
Cain has now been charged with four counts of attempted second degree murder after allegedly firing gunshots into a car with two adults and children.
He was booked on $140,000 bond.
