Authorities have been called in to investigate a crash involving a Fairview police officer and another vehicle.
The incident happened shortly after 12:15 a.m. Thursday on Highway 100, not far from Fairview High School.
Details of the crash were unclear.
Troopers said the officer was taken to an area hospital, while a juvenile in the other vehicle was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
The officer suffered non-life threatening injuries; however, the condition of the teen was not known.
The investigation remained ongoing.
