A driver remains on the run after leading troopers on a high-speed pursuit on Interstate 40.
The chase began Monday morning in Henderson County and continued east towards Nashville.
Officials with the Tennessee Highway Patrol said speeds topped 110 mph.
Troopers ended the chase as the car entered Davidson County due to the heavy traffic in Nashville. The vehicle was last seen at mile marker 192 in Pegram.
Investigators said they are now looking for a black sedan with a temporary tag.
