A man previously added to the state’s Top 10 Most Wanted List has been charged in a rape case from 5-years-ago.
Officials with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Brandon Wayne Isabell, who turned himself in on Friday, was connected to a case from 2011 through DNA testing.
Isabell was arrested in an unrelated case back in March and charged with attempted robbery, attempted rape, and attempted kidnapping.
In December 2012, the TBI presented evidence to a Maury County Grand Jury for one count of aggravated rape, one count of aggravated robbery, and four counts of aggravated kidnapping.
After his most recent arrest, authorities said Isbell’s DNA matched the profile from the 2011 case.
Isabell surrounded after being added to the TBI’s Most Wanted List.
