A tow truck driver was taken to an area hospital after his vehicle slammed into two utility poles in Murfreesboro.
The incident happened around midnight Thursday on Franklin Road near Rucker Lane.

The tow truck - which was hauling another vehicle - struck the poles, snapping one of them in half. It could be seen dangling in the air.
Utility crews have been called out to the scene. The cause of the crash was unknown.

A large part of Franklin Road was blocked, but those lanes have since reopened.
