One person was rescued in Sumner County after a tree fell on a home.
The incident happened at a home on Winding Way Saturday morning.
A couple and their three children were asleep at the time of the incident. The home sustained major damage.
Authorities said the mother and all three children were safe; however, crews arrived at the scene and found the man pinned in bed.
Friends identified the victim as Danny Thompson. Emergency workers were able to rescue Thompson, and he was able to walk away from the scene.
