Tennessee Wildlife officials have been pleading for the public’s help in finding a bear seen roaming around the Coffee County area.

The TWRA received reports Monday that the bear was near the border of Warren County.

Since then, it has been reported near New Bushy Branch Road in Coffee County, near exits 111-114 on Interstate 24, and even inside Manchester city limits.

Officials said residents should not approach the bear or try to kill it.

Anyone who spots the bear has been urged to call the TWRA at 1-800-624-7406.
