Undercover TBI Agent Robbed At Gunpoint

An undercover agent for the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation was robbed at gunpoint during a drug sting in La Vergne.

According to WGNS Radio, 21-year-old Caethean Davis and 23-year-old Dontarius Polk were arrested in the case.

The agent was working undercover and posed as an addict who was out to buy prescription narcotics, such as Percocet.

Officers later recovered pills, crack cocaine and cash, along with the handgun likely used in the robbery.

Davis and Polk were charged with one count of aggravated robbery, one count of aggravated assault, one count of evading arrest and one count of tampering/ fabricating evidence.

Both suspects were booked into the Rutherford County Jail.
