A Shell gas station store remained open for business, but workers there said they couldn’t pump gas because of an early morning crash.
The wreck happened around 6 a.m. Sunday when a driver was heading west on Harding Place near Interstate 24.

He lost control of his car, crossed a lane of traffic, hit a utility pole, then hit the protective side of a gas pump and flipped over.
Authorities confirmed the driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, but he was expected to be okay.
Those at the gas station reminded the public the store was still open for business.
No further details on the crash were released.
