A victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition after a shooting in the parking lot of a local store.
The incident happened around 6:51 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of Dollar General located in the 3000 block of Brick Church Pike.

Police confirmed the victim was shot inside a car in the parking lot. Officials said he then walked into the store for help.
According to reports, he was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in critical condition.
No further information was available. The investigation was ongoing.
