Police have been searching for a suspect who shot at a victim during an attempted robbery.
Authorities said the incident happened around 3:45 a.m. Sunday outside the Rolling Hills Apartments on Premier Drive.
According to reports, two guys were hanging out in the parking lot when they were approached by the suspect, a man wearing all white.
The man ordered them to give up the items they had, and one of the victims handed over his cellphone.
The second victim did not hand anything over to the suspect, which was when the suspect allegedly fired shots, giving one of the victims a minor graze wound to the chest.
The victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center to be checked out.
The suspect fled on foot. Officials said a K9 officers was not able to track the suspect.
The investigation remained ongoing. Anyone with information has been asked to contact police.
