One person showed up at a local Z Mart after being seriously injured in a shooting.
The shooting happened just before 1:30 a.m. Saturday. Reports stated the victim ran to the Z Mart at 24 Lafayette Street with multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Officials said it was believed the shooting took place in the parking area off of 1st Avenue South.
According to reports, authorities did not have information on the suspect.
The investigation remained ongoing.
