Vigil Held In Honor Of Teens Killed In Crash

A vigil was held at Centennial High School to remember three teenagers killed in a car crash in Maury County.

Nickell Whitson, Anisah Bourriague, and Adrian Williams all died in a crash in Columbia on December 23. They were found in a submerged car off Carters Creek Pike.

A vigil began at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Centennial High School to honor all three victims.

Go Fund Me accounts have also been created to help the families with funeral expenses. So far, more than $20,000 has been raised.

The three teens attended Centennial High School off Mallory Lane in Franklin. Whitson and Bourriague were involved with football and cheerleading.

The funeral for Williams was held Tuesday. Whitson's funeral took place Wednesday at Fourth Avenue Church of Christ.

A celebration of life service for Bourriague is set for 11 a.m. Thursday, at the Centennial High School Performing Arts Center. Her body was being flown to Sweden where her family is from.
