A highly sought after drug dealer has been placed behind bars in a Nashville.

According to reports, 23-year-old Fabio Couoh had been the subject of an ongoing drug investigation by Metro police.

On Saturday, investigators jumped on their chance to put him in jail.

According to police documents, MNPD investigators knew Couoh was driving a Chevy Tahoe, and they saw it parked at a Shell gas station at the corner of Stewart's Ferry Pike and Bell Road in the Hermitage area.

Detectives had gotten information that Couoh would be there to sell a large amount of drugs, so they went after him; however, when detectives tried to take him into custody, Couoh bolted.

Police did eventually catch up to him, and that's when they found a pound of methamphetamine in his SUV.

Documents said he had planned to sell it.

According to records, Couoh admitted that he'd driven the Tahoe to the Nashville area from Georgia.

Police have charged Couoh, not just with possession, but also with intent to sell the meth and evading arrest.

His bond was set at $210,000.
