A man wanted on a slew of charges has been taken into custody in Clarksville.
Officials confirmed 20-year-old James Lucas Lame Williams was arrested around noon Friday.
Authorities said his arrest was a joint effort between the Clarksville Police Department, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
Reports stated officials learned he was the passenger in a vehicle, so they pulled the vehicle over in the area of Fort Campbell Boulevard and Lafayette Road to make the arrest.
Williams was believed to have committed numerous crimes in the city and county.
He was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on the following charges:
- Violation of probation
- Drugs schedule VI (manufacturing, resale, distribution, Delivery), marijuana
- Simple possession
- Unlawful drug paraphernalia
- Four counts of weapon possession
- Four counts of theft of property
- Evading
- Three counts of aggravated assault
- Six counts of aggravated kidnapping
- Theft, auto
- Three counts of aggravated robbery
- Aggravated burglary
- Interference with emergency call
- Vandalism
Williams was being held on a $1,680,000 bond.
