Wanted Woman Arrested At Convenience Store

Posted

A woman with multiple warrants was arrested after an officer spotted her at a convenience store.

After responding to other calls, an officer in Clarksville stopped at the store around 5:22 a.m. Saturday.

The officer confronted the woman, identified as 23-year-old Lakeitra Withrow, and she initially lied about her name. The officer said she claimed to be her sister.

There was a brief struggle, according to reports, as Withrow resisted arrest.

She was charged with criminal impersonation stemming from the incident Saturday morning.

Her warrants involved charges of driving on a revoked license, two counts of unlawful drug paraphernalia, and two counts of simple possession.

Withrow gained an additional charge after she was thoroughly searched at the jail on Saturday. Authorities confirmed they found her in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

The additional charge was introducing contraband into a penal institution.

No further information was available.
