Officials in Wilson County confirmed a judge has been cited after hitting a car in a parking lot.
Reports state Kina Moore, of Nashville, reported damage to the rear bumper of her vehicle on Thursday.
The damage allegedly stemmed from an incident on Monday when she was in court at the Wilson County Judicial Center in the 100 block of East High Street.
According to reports, she stopped for gas and noticed a crack in the rear bumper.
Surveillance video showed a pickup truck backing into Moore’s car before the driver pulled away and parked further away in the lot at the Judicial Center.
Authorities said the driver was identified as 80-year-old Haywood Barry, of Lebanon, the General Sessions Judge for Wilson County.
In an interview, Judge Barry admitted to the incident. He was issued citations for failure to give immediate notice, failure to give information, and leaving the scene.
Officials said Judge Barry has been scheduled to appear in court on June 26.
