Cheatham County deputies said a female K-9 officer helped land a woman behind bars.
Deputies said Melissa Fardon, of Clarksville, was stopped in the Chapmansboro area of the county Saturday morning after a sniffing investigation by K-9 Loretta turned up ten pounds of marijuana.
Also found by authorities was $4,285 in cash.
Fardon was charged with possession of marijuana for resale. Her bond had not been set.
Authorities said Loretta was rewarded with a toy for finding the drugs.
