Officials with the Gallatin Police Department said they arrested a woman accused of stealing a diamond ring from a pawn shop.
The incident happened at the Kwik Kash and Pawn in the 200 block of North Water around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Authorities said Christina Haefs was taken into custody after turning herself in.
Haefs allegedly looked at a diamond ring and switched it for a piece of costume jewelry when the clerk was not looking.
No further details on her arrest were given.
