Police have been searching for a suspect after a woman was stabbed in the leg during a robbery.
The incident happened just after 5 a.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Murfreesboro Pike.
According to reports, the woman was stabbed during a robbery, and authorities said she possibly knew the suspect.
The victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for the treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect was described as a black male, standing around 6’ tall. He was wearing a red, black, and white hockey jersey and dark jeans.
