A woman suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a truck near Donelson.
The incident happened Tuesday night on Massman Drive, not far from Elm Hill Pike.
Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said a woman got out of a vehicle due to an argument with a man.
She began walking down the road towards Oak Grove Drive when an oncoming pickup truck struck her.
The victim suffered life-threatening injuries. Her name was not known.
Police do not think truck driver was impaired and said he was trying to get around the stopped car.
No other details were available. Police were still at the scene early Wednesday morning.
