A crash has blocked a portion of Highway 231 North in Bedford County.
According to Shelbyville Police, the incident happened early Friday morning just north of Deason.

A vehicle apparently hit a utility pole, which caused a chain reaction crash. The car then struck another vehicle, which hit another utility pole.
Traffic was being rerouted onto Coop Road.
Information on injuries was not known.
