An investigation got underway after a security guard fired at two burglary suspects in Madison.
The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. Thursday at Cartronics on Gallatin Pike near Myatt Drive.
A security guard told Metro Nashville police that he saw two men loading items from the back of the business into a white van.
He said he told them to stop, at which point they allegedly tried to back the van into him. At that point, he said he fired at them.

Police said they don’t believe anyone was injured. So far, none of the local hospitals have reported seeing patients with gunshot wounds.
It’s unclear if anything was taken from the business.
