NBA legend, Earvin “Magic” Johnson spoke to students at Maplewood High School.
Johnson, the 5-time champion and 12-time NBA all-star talked to them Friday about the importance of education and overcoming adversity.
He shared stories of his troubles with education growing up and how he remains successful after his NBA playing career was cut short.
He hoped his message would inspire others to keep pushing toward their dreams even when they feel like the odds are against them.
