Metro Nashville Police officers arrested and charged a man for attempted murder.
Officials said 45-year-old Brodis Hall was arrested Wednesday.
He was accused of shooting his friend, 49-year-old Maurice Webster as a result of a dispute during a social gathering Saturday at Hall’s 1412 15th Avenue South home.
Webster, of Wade Avenue, was hit in the midsection by a rifle round.
He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in a private vehicle just before 2 a.m. Saturday and remained hospitalized with a serious injury.
Hall was being held in lieu of $250,000 bond.
