HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man was arrested and accused of robbing an elderly woman in Hendersonville home invasion.
According to Hendersonville Police officials, 40-year-old Marcellus Hazelitt broke into a a residence at the Red Cedar Glen Senior Living facility.
The victim reported that he had forcibly taken a purse.
Officials spotted Hazelitt a short distance from the area trying to get a ride and found the property belonging to the victim.
He was charged with aggravated burglary and robbery and booked into the Sumner County Jail.
