SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Bedford County authorities say a man is in custody after allegedly kidnapping a woman Monday morning.
The Bedford County Sheriff’s Office says 22-year-old Samuel Gomez-Benicio was arrested in Falkville, Alabama later that night.
Investigators say he was picked up early Tuesday morning and charged with burglary, domestic assault, two counts of kidnapping and especially aggravated kidnapping. Details of the alleged kidnapping were not provided.
He’s being held on $200,000 bond at the Bedford County Jail. The sheriff’s office did not release any additional information.
