Man Accused Of Robbing Juvenile During Drug Deal

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. – A 23-year-old man has been accused of robbing a juvenile during a drug deal at a Sumner County Walmart.

The incident was reported Sunday night at the store on North Anderson Lane in Hendersonville. 

Officials with Hendersonville Police said a teen allegedly tried to purchase marijuana from Jonathan C. Cartee, when he was robbed at gunpoint inside the suspect's vehicle. 

Cartee, of White House, was arrested for one count of aggravated robbery and one count of possession of a weapon.

A female juvenile, who reportedly knew the victim, was also in the car at the time of the robbery. Police said additional charges are expected to be filed against her.
