Man accused of selling woman drugs, leaving her body after overdose

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man was charged after he allegedly left the body of a woman who overdosed in a parking lot in Rutherford County.

According to Rutherford County Sheriff's officials, 27-year-old Cory T. Sain of Murfreesboro sold heroin to 31-year-old Tiffany Vickers.

They say the two connected over social media. They met up at the Nice Mill Dam. Sain told detectives Vickers used the illegal drug in his car and later stopped breathing. Sain and his passenger allegedly then left her body in the parking lot.

The passenger has not been charged.

According to officials, Sain removed message about the drug transaction from social media.

Sain was charged with abuse of the corpse, tampering with evidence and possession of heroin for resale. He's being held on $110,000 bond at Rutherford County Adult Detention Center. A hearing is set Jan. 27 in General Sessions Court.
