NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville Police have asked for the public's help in finding the man they say stole $30,000 dollars worth of copper.
They say the man took the large spool from the Carlex Glass Plant on Centennial Boulevard Sunday afternoon.
The thief cut a lock on a restricted area and managed to get two spools of wire onto his truck.
An employee saw what was happening and intervened. One of the spools was off loaded before the thief took off.
