Man accused of throwing rock from I-40 overpass

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police say a man has been arrested after allegedly throwing a rock from an overpass on Interstate 40.

According to an affidavit from Metro Nashville police, Eliezer Gonzalez was caught throwing rocks off the bridge at Jefferson Street on Tuesday. He's also accused of exposing himself to drivers.

One witness told police he was able to dodge the rock, while another said their vehicle was hit on the passenger side. Police said no one was hurt.

Officers tracked him down and said he admitted to the incident. He’s been charged with reckless endangerment and held on a $10,000 bond.

On Monday, police arrested Gonzalez for allegedly urinating at the baggage claim at Nashville International Airport.
