A man was taken into custody after a three-hour long standoff in south Nashville.
The ordeal began around midnight at a home near the intersection of Jeffery Drive and Eisenhower Drive.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said the incident stemmed from a domestic situation.
The man refused to come out of the home and was reportedly armed with a gun.
He was eventually taken into custody without incident. His name was not known.
Police said he's facing domestic assault and strangulation charges.
