FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Police confirmed a man wanted in Franklin for allegedly assaulting his mother has been taken into custody.
Officials said 24-year-old Denzel Ware was arrested Thursday. The alleged attack happened around 5:40 p.m. Monday on Chestnut Lane.
Further details of his arrest were not immediately available.
Authorities said Ware violently assaulted his mother by allegedly punching her in the face and pulling out her hair.
Afterwards, police said Ware walked outside and fired several shots into the air before going back in and attacking her again.
