A man was arrested in Robertson County after a domestic situation turned violent.
It happened at a home near Matthews Road in Cedar Hill.
According to officials with the Robertson County Sheriff's Office, the man and woman were fighting when the woman tried to stab him, and he shot her in response.
The man was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic assault. The woman was transported to a nearby hospital for the gunshot wound.
